Well this place has fallen from its grace. Food was just not good. The fried steak was quite pathetic but edible. The biscuit was so stale you could need it. Letting the server know he didn't care. You didn't mention it to the kitchen. I said they weren't even edible and nothing went into the kitchen or was told to the kitchen. Prices are through the roof here. You have to mortgage your car to get a meal here now. I definitely would avoid this place. I used to come here a lot and I haven't been here in about 2 years now so I thought I would give another shot and that was definitely the last time I'm going to come here. Not good.

Rude and disrespectful service. We’ve been patrons here for many years. So when we called the Coffee Cup ahead of our visit, we did so as a courtesy. It was after 1pm on a holiday. On the phone, we were told the kitchen was open til 2pm. After looking for parking and unbelting our toddler, we hoped to find the same friendly smiles that we were used too. Instead, what we found was a waitress that seemed unsure whether or not to seat us. I told her that we called ahead. She did not look happy and told me, we need to get the check paid by 2pm. My husband walked in with my toddler. As we struggled to put our toddler in the dirty high chair, the waitress got the menu and hovered over us saying again that we need to get your order in and paid before 2pm. When we put in the order, the food came out with the check and the waitress hovered over us again, waiting for us to pay the bill immediately. Neither my husband nor I could enjoy our meal. We had difficulty getting through our food, as we were being stared at the whole time. Mind you, there were others there in the diner as well. Since my move from 3 other towns in Orange County, this diner gives an awesome original, beautiful vibe. Been here at least 5 times now and the food and friendly service is consistently excellent.

My partner and I were talking a stroll down our new neighborhood, and quite literally SMELLED the delicious food before seeing this place. It was almost cartoon-like the way we just followed our feet toward the warm buttery smell of a local diner. We probably got lucky since it was just two of us and spots were available at the counter right when we got in! We sat down, and were greeted right away with a smile and a fresh pot of coffee. Menu is extensive for such a cozy spot! Health is also highlighted in their menu..plenty of options to enhance the menu to your needs. My partner got the turkey omelette sub egg whites, and I got the French toast combo w/ a side of potatoes (10/10). The atmosphere is amazing, and we love businesses that highlight artists as well (you can scan under some of the art displayed to learn more). Service is friendly and efficient. When you walk-in, you get a sense that you’ve been there before. And that’s a very comforting feeling for a first timer (:

Ate here on a Friday morning. Had banana nut pancakes, a side of bacon and earl grey tea. Other patron had french toast with substitute links. Service was friendly. Cute place. Food was just OK to us. That's butter not whip cream on top of the bananas. $38 for decent portions.
